Collection: April Hale
From a young age I knew not only that I wanted to be an artist, but also that nature is integral to human existence. Influenced by my environmentalist grandmother, encouraging parents, and a number of amazing art teachers, my work and life have always existed in an intersection of art and environment. For over 15 years I have been using my knowledge and skills to create jewelry inspired by the natural landscape, flora, and fauna and hold a Master’s of Fine Art from Montana State University in Bozeman and a Craft Certificate in Metalsmithing from the Appalachian Center for Craft in Tennessee. I absolutely love what I do, and when I’m not making jewelry, you can find me digging in my gardens, riding my horse, Stella, or hiking with my young son, Reuben, and our dog, Cricket.
