These earrings are inspired by the astronomical event known as a nova, which occurs when a star suddenly becomes very bright, usually due to runaway hydrogen fusion. They are entirely handmade from recycled sterling silver and enameled reclaimed steel, with a dusting of gold fused into the enamel.
They measure approximately 2 1/8 inches long by ½ inch wide and hang on handmade recycled sterling silver ear wires.
All jewelry is handmade from a minimum of 50% reclaimed materials. Because of the nature of handmade objects, the item you receive will vary slightly from the photograph. A percentage of every sale is donated to a non-profit environmental, humanitarian, or arts organization. Thank you for supporting sustainable craft!
